Great news! It looks like I’ll be visiting my dad and his family in the US next northern summer! My flight may be confirmed as early as today! This is the best news I’ve had since I can’t remember when.

We’re thinking a 4-6 week stay from mid June to early august or thereabouts. Will be good to escape the Melbourne winter.

Depends on the rules at that time. I’d be more than happy with 7 days home quarantine as it would give me time to shake off the jet lag. Definitely better than 14 days in a hotel.
