Lots of teams had baseball practice today, but very few also got to see history. A lot of looking up at the sky for players and coaches at CCU as the Chinese balloon, and military jets, flew over the field for a few innings. Definitely some cheers when it was shot down.

Some of our managers and players were sitting in the stands because the NCAA limits the number of bodies in the dugout. These kids practice hours and hours all year. They should be in the dugout with their teammates. It stinks

This is a picture I took last fall. I just drove by Springs Brooks Stadium and I can report Vrooman Field looks fabulous and is ready for baseball. I know this doesn't get everybody excited but the new infield dirt looks absolutely beautiful. This place really is "The Palace"

Graham Brown has been outstanding in the outfield. He made 2 more SportsCenter Top 10 type plays yesterday. A diving, sliding catch in foul territory, and in the second game he played a ball off the wall and then gunned down the hitter at 2nd on what looked like a sure double.
