We still have a limited number of spaces available in our Reception classes for September 2023. If you haven't already applied, please contact the school office for further information.
I have instructed all staff to ensure that Friday is a fun day for pupils in school. I want them to have the opportunity to forget about what is going on in the outside world and simply enjoy being a child. Lots of fun activities such as art and craft, dancing, singing, etc.
Special thanks to this lady who is out in all weather helping pupils to arrive at school safely. An integral member of our school team. Diolch yn fawr iawn!
@CaerphillyCBC
Tomorrow, at 9:15am our school will fall silent to remember the victims of Pantglas Junior School, Aberfan. School flags will be flown at half mast as a mark of respect. Later the head boy and girl will lay wreaths at the memorial garden in Aberfan. We will never forget.
Our Eisteddfod today is dedicated to the memory of Mrs Lynette Hinton. A devoted teacher, colleague and friend. Our new Eisteddfod chair is dedicated in her memory.
As we enter another week of lockdown a quick reminder that the well-being of our children must be the number one priority. If you don't get through all the work don't worry. As long as your child has a smile on their face at the end of the day then you have achieved success. 🌈
Dear Staff,
Please find time to relax this weekend and spend quality time with your families. Your energy, passion and enthusiasm this week has been inspiring. Thank you for everything you do for our school.
Mr George
So proud of this group of players. They have been an absolute pleasure to coach. Welsh Schools Champions 2021 / 2022. Not afraid to say there were one or two tears at the end of the game. Thank you for giving the coaches the opportunity today.

I have just completed as assessment of the school site with Mr Mills. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, school will remain closed tomorrow. Access to the school and the school site are treacherous with black ice a major issue. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.
We are going to open a pebble garden in the school car park. Please paint a 'Lockdown' pebble and write a message on it. The pebble garden will be near the flag poles. Please remeber social distancing if you are bringing a pebble. We look forward to seeing them.

Thank you to everyone for the support this afternoon. Met Office had issued an Amber Warning for snow from 2:00pm which was why we took the decision to close early. The safety of our pupils travelling home from school was our main concern.
Look what arrived in school today! It was like Christmas in July! Out with the old whiteboards and in with the new 65" clevertouch interactive TVs! Exciting times.
