Our bereavement hampers are starting to take shape. We’ll be creating these for children across Leeds who have lost loved ones to Covid-19. There’s parent guides on bereavement, resources to make memory jars, hand knitted love hearts and story books. @Child_Leeds

So happy to read in the ‘Inspecting the Curriculum’ @Ofstednews handbook that all Ofsted inspections in primary schools will take ‘deep dives’ into the teaching of reading. Reading is by far the most important skill that children can master in a primary school. @RSch_PrimarySLT

1/ Our wonderful outdoor library was purposefully burnt down by vandals yesterday, destroying its entire contents and and our outdoor PA system. The library was in memory of a very special member of our community who we sadly lost last year.

Our classrooms have been transformed into magical bedrooms! Huge thank you to Mrs Watson for organising this special event! Over 200 children came back to school this evening! @RSch_Year2 . Thank you to our fabulous team of story tellers too!!

WHAT A DAY! So proud of #teamroundhay . We had 60 wonderful visitors today coming to learn all about our phonics provision and the support that @JCEnglishHub can offer. Our children were fab, our staff were wonderful and I honestly think I could burst with pride!
