A really cool Colorado story tonight at 9p on @KDVR : #KentuckyDerby150 horse “West Saratoga” was named after a CO street & his jockey will wear the CO flag on Sat. Plus, he’s a total underdog! Owner Harry Veruchi, from CO, paid just $11k. Another horse in the race cost $2.3 mil!

Feeling very thankful this holiday. Rico had a major health scare at the end of October, underwent a life-altering surgery & spent nearly 3 weeks in the hospital. We are beyond thankful for family & friends who were there for us. And SO thankful one day Rico will be all better!💛

Hiked Hanging Lake on a special tour today. It’s bad. Debris is 10ft deep, bridges are gone & creek has shifted where it flows. BUT: the lake itself is recovering!! A primitive trail could reopen next year. A permanent trail will take years. @KDVR
