Details on how the body is preserved when one wishes to take their loved on abroad for burial. I wonder if the wish of the deceased to be buried in their places of birth is worth this ordeal..they say even a fly sitting on a body is painful for the soul…& filled with alcohol!

I got married straight out of uni, I had a degree at this point so did hubby. I went on & did 2 post grads after marriage. My husband would leave the house so I could study w/o distraction. When I qualified as a solicitor he took my entire family out for a meal to celebrate.

Isha & taraweeh read w/ baby in arms. Got a dead arm by the end. Reminded me of Umrah when my then baby who is obsessed w/ her dad decided she wouldn’t get off me. From salah to tawaf I carried her! Allah gives mothers so many ways to earn rewards. May Allah bless our mothers

Hubby went to the mosque & had iftaar there. Many Syrian & Somali brothers go there too. Hubby came back feeling very emotional as these brothers were picking up half eaten stuff to take home. We have no idea how privileged we are!

Husband invited his mates & their families for iftaar tonight, been prepping/cooking since 11. Menu: mutton pilau, beef curry, kebab, spinach & paneer pakora, dalir bora, aloo tikki, beguni, made raita & salad too. Was going ti make firni but my back can’t cope-cheese cakes it is

@TweetsByBilal We are more susceptible in the UK due to or socio-economic standings and institutional racism that puts more IN Front line duties over white counterparts. Also wonder if black/brown countries climate means the virus doesn’t survive long there?

The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) married Khadijah (RA) when she was 40, a widower with 3 children. He was 25 & never married. He went onto have children with her. He has sons that died in infancy. Muslims regard him as the greatest man to have walked the earth.
