asinine ticketing policy. My baby can fly for free but cannot attend a Vol sporting event without a ticket - something I learned as I was walking in with my child on my hip. Why make it so difficult?

By all means, let’s make it harder for the next generation of fans, and for their cash strapped parents, to embrace the Vols so we can keep financing terrible hires and massive buyouts. 🙃

For the record, she had a blast. Sat in our lap. Cheered. Clapped. Bounced to the pep band. Never cried (which is more than I can say for Will Wade) and was a hit with her fellow fans.

This isn't specific to the Vols. It's the standard for major pro and college sports. Might be bad policy but its consistent.

games for free. This year I'll finally have to start buying tickets, her fandom already firmly implanted.

I had to pay for my 1 year old a plate and a seat at Dixie Stampede that he couldn’t even eat even though I told them he could sit in my lap. Some policies are insane and not well thought thru.

Same thing happened to me a few years back and someone in line just handed me a ticket... cool moment following a very not cool moment when I found out about this policy

Years ago I went to see UT and UK ... When I ordered the tickets I specifically asked the lady on the phone if my son, 2 at the time, needed a ticket ... Would've had no problem buying one ... The lady said no ... Get to the game going thru the line and the ticket guy says wheres

His ticket ? ... I said he doesn't need one ... Ticket guy says oh yes he does ... I go through the whole thing about calling and the lady saying he didn't need one ... Ended up having to go back down and buying a single ticket for him and he sat in our laps anyway ...

We don’t want just any commitment from anybody willy nilly. This is a serious dedication that must not be over looked. If Vol fanaticism was easy, every would be doing it. I’m not supporting unfair treatment, but I need to know if your child is a serious VFL applicant?
