Law of Perspective: A = 2*atan(g/2r) A = Angular size g = Diameter r = Distance Sun Diameter = 865,000 miles Sun Distance = 93,000,000 miles 2*atan(865000/(2*93000000)) = 0.53 degrees Conclusion: 0.53 degrees is visually as wide as the Moon. So yes, you would fucking see it.

Sure. 1. The glare from the Sun will overpower the small amount of light coming from the Moon, making it impossible to see before totality. 2. I was using a solar filter, which makes the problem worse. 3. @AstronoLive captured Earthshine, proving it was the Moon. Cope.

NASA used a remote control camera to record the astronauts leaving the lunar surface. It was mounted on the lunar rover. You would have found that out if you did just a bit of research. But I guess doing research is too much to ask of someone with really strong opinions. 🤦
