John Smiths was rocking for 90 mins. Huddersfield have energy, passion & style of play that fans want to watch. Didn’t see many leave before the final whistle.
Massively second best today. Hurry up January transfer window.

Proud of our FA Youth Cup run. For the 5th time in 6 years we’ve reached the first round proper which is always our aim in the competition.
Beaten by a superior AFC Wimbledon but now we focus on what’s ahead of us for the rest of the season.

Special mention to

@Joesandell
for saving the last pen.
Come on You Rooks ❤️🖤
A little something I’ve been working on over lockdown with the spare time I had. For me, an opportunity to take a break and reflect on the journey so far.
Please take a moment to have a look and feel free to leave any feedback on the contact page.
National Champions 🏆🙌🏽
Undefeated in all competitions, 2 players gone on to get pro contracts, the least this squad deserves.

Great to watch Worthing again tonight.

National league south beckons.
Now that the presents have been exchanged, food has been eaten and we’re about to retire infront of the TV with a bottle and chocolates. This is the opportunity to take a moment to appreciate those in the NHS who’ve worked all day, or are an route to work all night. Thank you ❤️

🏆🏆🏆 Only when you’ve been involved in a group as special as this will you ever appreciate the true meaning of teamwork. Couldn’t be more proud of these fine young men, on and off the pitch a dream to work with.
A massive thank you to all the
@Lewes_CFC_U18s
players, you’ve given your all to every session, match & team event! I couldn’t have asked for more this season. Winning that double was the target, an absolute pleasure to work with every single one of you!

Was meant to be our second cup final of the season tonight. Instead we hosted an awards night, thanked our outgoing second years, set our targets for next season and appointed our new captain!
@LewesFCU18s
Players Player - Brad Santos
Management Player - Callum Jenkins
Terrible pitch, loads missing through Covid, injury and suspensions, ended up with 2 subs on the bench, 2-0 down at HT. A lot of teams would have crumbled. Not my team!!

❤️🖤
90'+4 | GOALLLLL LEWES!! | Alfie Mitchell has seemingly stolen all three points for the visitors with a low drive that beats the keeper at his near post, 3-2
If
@NetflixUK
had anything about them, they’d release Dream Tream from Sky One during this pandemic.
Karl Fletcher banging in goals for Harchester United would make everything better.

Mid Sussex Division 1 Champions
Following today’s 7-1 victory the u14’s are league champions adding to the League Cup victory a couple of weeks ago. Next week we are in County Cup Semi Final action too!

Pleasure to give 5 debuts last night in the Isthmian Youth Cup (2 starts and 3 subs). Rule change to be able to use all 5 subs at youth level is definitely welcomed 👏🏽 Three 15 year olds gaining valuable experience and opportunity to rotate the squad and get minutes in 🔴⚫️
First time Sussex have been national champions since 1952! So proud of this group.
Pleasure working with them at Sussex and Lewes.
Looking forward to what next years group can bring 👀

RIP Matt. Thank you for giving me my first coaching opportunity at Shoreham when I was just 21! 9 years later onto winning the FA National County Youth Cup. A man I always looked up to, always a pleasure to be around. A legacy that will be remembered forever ❤️⚽️
It is with great sadness we announce that our chairman, Mathew Major, passed away peacefully yesterday.
Matt gave a huge amount to Sussex football and he will be be greatly missed by all of us here!
We send our heartfelt condolence to Matt's family and friends. 💙
Proud of this group today. First of 3 double headers in our league run in. 2-0 and 3-2 wins with a last minute winner in the second game and coming from behind.
5 games in 8 days from next Sunday, including the League Cup final on Friday 8th April.

Is the 10 not offside here? 🧐 .. offside position, goes towards the ball and then blocks the defender?! Referee then gave a sinbin for the appeal.. any officials that want to clarify?
4 hour journey on the coach to Dover, 4 goals, clean sheet. In the hat 🎩 Solid performance from the boys.
@danetasker
with a couple big saves when under pressure!

Absolute pleasure working at Lancing FC this season. Thank you to all the players, committee, fans and volunteers for your hard work and support on and off the pitch.
Looking forward to the new challenge ⚽️
The young Rooks are a goal to the good at HT away at Shoreham tonight. The goal, summed up the first 45, scrappy. A miss hit Callum Jenkins shot prodded home by George Mitchell-Phillips 🔴⚫
Can’t wait for this one tonight. Will be a tough game against a very strong opposition.
If you fancy a game of football come and support the boys as we attempt to get to round 2.
🔴⚫️
Tough one to take - but without a doubt the right decision. Football is secondary.
Trophies will always be there to be won. Lives won’t to be saved.

A busy but brilliant Sunday full of Sussex County Cup football!
First the u18’s away at Seaford winning 5-0 followed by the u14’s winning at home 10-0.
15 goals, 2 clean sheets and now a QF and a 3rd round to look forward to in January 🔴⚫️
Class to have Brighton legend brunosaltor referee our game this morning. He was also the last parent left helping take down nets and respect barrier! Ever the…
Some players having to play 210 minutes in less than 36 hours because the league and the county FA couldn’t move one due to the other
One is a midweek competition, the other a weekend. Sunday / Monday… that’s a REAL safeguarding and welfare issue!
