Not everyone can spend 6hrs on Sunday afternoons watching a race. Majority of fans have a family, kids etc. It's easy for parents to watch a 3-3.5hr race but to spend your WHOLE afternoon watching a race really takes your entire day.
@RattlesnakeTex
If it wouldn’t drain the drivers mentally anc physically I’d take a 600 - 800 mile race 😂😂 the last lap is the worst lap every Sunday because I know it’s over until next weekend !
@RattlesnakeTex
They could just watch the last half of the race but think because they want less racing, everyone else should have less. Been to many races in person, never want it to end
@RattlesnakeTex
Mostly because after awhile it just get boring no race should really be over 3 hours other than something like the daytona 500 or like the 24 hours of lemans or something like that in my opinion
@RattlesnakeTex
I agree with him. Some races drag on and on. If there were maybe 50-75 less laps, the races won’t seem so long. Like nobody wants to sit and watch Pocono for 4-5 hours 🤷🏾♂️😂
@RattlesnakeTex
I agree. Endurance racing is gaining insane traction in the US and internationally. NASCAR could start marketing their races as a hybrid series that tests endurance of man and machine, and something you can watch in one sitting.

I actually miss being able to watch a driver complete the Double, the Indy 500 and Coca Cola 600 in one day! Talk about devotion and intensity!
