@RadioMirage @916greygardens @NPR @NPRCodeSwitch Even simple word choices count...i.e., any staff using "declined" instead of "refused" to label a client/ customer/ patient choice is innocuous, rather than implying an attitude that can fester, like the game telephone. Using deferential language choices...
