@RNSuperHero When do people wait for patients to have irretrievable numbers. Crashing patients don't survive.

@RNSuperHero It’s not like you are calling for a potassium of 3.4… jeez. ABGs should be taken seriously and should be corrected to prevent future crashing. And if the resident is only concerned with a patient who is *actively* crashing then they need to reevaluate their practice.

@RNSuperHero Whatttt. As a resident, ESPECIALLY in the ICU, I'm always so glad when nurses tell me what patient results are, especially ABGs! Also, if a nurse is calling, it's for a good reason!

@RNSuperHero If a nurse is concerned about something that I am not concerned about, I just say thank you. Unless it is a really experienced nurse and it doesn’t make sense to me initially why they are so concerned, then I probe to make sure I’M not missing something.

@RNSuperHero To this resident: do not talk to nurses like this. The remainder of your residency will be hell. Being nice will make the rest of your life easier.

@RNSuperHero You know the absolutely best run codes? The ones that DON'T HAPPEN because they were prevented. 🤔

@RNSuperHero Why order the test if you don’t want to be informed of the results? Especially if the results are outside of normal range.

@RNSuperHero My reply would have been, "Okay my next call will be to your attending about how you don't want to do your job."
