This pedigree is worrisome as it lacks gender, cultural and ethnic diversity. And while your ideas are potentially broadly applicable, they are too speculative. Finally, someone has already published something similar 2400 years ago. Next!

- I know I shouldn't be calling you like this, but a few of us on the committee were really pulling for you. The whole mentor's history of ugly litigation plus your trainee's trainee being a mass murderer... well in the end the school just thought it was a potential PR disaster
