The Apple Cup continuing is actually more hilarious when you consider WSU and UW are actively suing each other over the very issue that required them to agree to continue playing the game.

Tbf "suing" is just a legal course to split the funds. It doesn't mean they're at each others' throats. It's using the courts to split legal issues.
I'm not implying they're friends or on great terms by any means, but in business this sort of thing happens all the time.

Not really. Just backoffice money negotiations. Lawyers will handle it. You have to play poker with the cards you are dealt. The 5 year deal is awesome for Coug nation imho. Im in it to win it. We have to deal our way out of a really shtty situation and I think we can do it.
