The entire affidavit is horrifying but that poor surviving roommate is going to catch way too much undeserved abuse for not calling police for 8 hours. I cannot, for one moment, imagine what kind of mental state she was in.

Maybe she went straight into shock. Maybe she was so scared (am I next?) she couldn’t think straight. Maybe she was hiding in a closet. We will and should never know. Peace to her and the other survivor.

If people frame it each was dead when she woke up and 8 hours make no difference it is easier to understand. We still don't know what he did to the bodies or how we would react to a friend dead in front of you.. no judgement

Either way, all the roommates were dead whether or not she called the cops within 5 minutes or 8 hours

She may not have been sober; and the grief she is enduring for the last 1 1/2 months is heartbreaking enough. People should be consoling her.
