The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the James River in Richmond. Flood levels are expected to remain high until Tuesday afternoon. Residents and visitors are warned to AVOID all use of the James River.

All offices and community centers in the City of Richmond are closed Monday, June 19th, in honor of Juneteenth. All pools will be open from noon - 6 pm. Trash collection will be delayed by one day. Have a great Juneteenth!

First responders say no one was inside the building during the fire and no one was hurt. However, the community will be hurting from the loss of one of the only grocery stores for several miles.
