Besides the Air Force, snipers are among the most feared among Russian troops deployed in Syria. Nasyrov Ildarovich was one of them. He was even decorated for this (Syrian medal). He was killed in Ukraine days ago.

The last "hot spot" he was deployed (Ukraine) didn't bring him luck. He previously fought in Syria to support Assad. He served in motorized rifle troops.
Russian Major Head of Operational Dep. of an Artillery Brigade (Smerch MLRS) was slain in Ukraine. BM-30s were less used in Syria than other MLRS by pro-Assad forces but caused a massacre on 4th April 2019 vs market street in Kafranbel (11 civs killed incl. children)

A successful raid launched 2 days ago by Ukrainian Mil. Intelligence killed a number of Russian troops in Kharkiv. They captured a commander who served in Special Forces for combat submarines (Russian Northern Fleet). He was deployed in Syria in 2019.
