From 1996 to 2001, the Taliban tried to impose tribal Pashtun-culture on other ethnicities. Currently, the Taliban is trying to reinstall this. Afghanistan is not Pashtun. The Taliban cannot impose tribal Pashtun culture on the Tajik, Uzbek, Hazara, Turkmen groups.
