My uncle tested positive a while back.
He also has had severe asthma for as long as I've been alive. He said he was laying on the floor short of breath, too tired to even reach for his phone to text people that he wasn't dead.
And the hospital wouldn't take him.
In consultation with my doctors, I checked myself into Morristown Medical Center this afternoon. While I am feeling good and only have mild symptoms, due to my history of asthma we decided this is an important precautionary measure.

My son is an ER Doctor and his hospital has never turned away a patient with COVID, a fever, and asthma. Perhaps that hospital had no free beds at the time.

Exactly this. Many of us have been through horrible health trials with no care or help at all; isolated. And that mf gets all this attention on day 2. I’m beyond disgusted. Hope your unc is better and back to normal life asap💖

We think my husband had COVID in late January/early February but tests weren’t available at that time. He was sick for a few days & we thought it was his asthma (he has severe asthma). Most ppl @ his job also got really sick. He couldn’t breath & it happened so quickly. It was

Treatment for me, but not for thee. Substitute “treatment” for “tax breaks,” “lifetime universal health insurance,” “fancy trips and vacations paid by “lobbyists””, “abortions regardless of the law” etc. and you have today’s GOP.
