Following tonight's announcement regarding the national lockdown and exam cancellation, we are working to bring you further details regarding GCSE, A level, BTEC, Edexcel Awards and our International qualifications. We'll be releasing more details shortly.
From tomorrow at 8am, centres will have details of the sample they must send to us. The 48 hours starts from when the email is sent, which is why we're sending emails first thing and not overnight.
The DfE has now confirmed that vocational exams, including BTECs, will go ahead in January as planned. We are working with them urgently to understand the implications of this and will share any updates as soon as we have them.

The DfE has confirmed an updated approach for scheduled January BTEC exams – schools/colleges can choose to offer exams if they judge it right to do so. No BTEC learner will be disadvantaged. More info here

We know students love their mobile phones, but during exam season students are not allowed to take mobile phones or web enabled devices into the exam room. Seems obvious, but this JCQ video gets the message across really well - pass it on to your students.
