Thanks to everyone who shared kind thoughts and warm wishes today about Kevin. I know he would have loved them as much as he loved his fans, and that love was boundless. I'm going to leave it here for a while, on this image of these magic makers. Good Knight all.
"Batman: The Animated Series" premiered 27 years ago today. Very grateful to have been included with the many amazing artists, directors, writers, and musicians who brought the Dark Knight to life, and to the incredible fans who keep that world alive.

"Shit next" indeed. Yes, I'm co-writer, but also, why cancel a 95% finished holiday movie this close to Fall, when you're guaranteed kids watching it from right after Halloween until at least New Years? Makes no business sense esp. as both kids & parents dug the WIP screening.
Didn't realize (or, perhaps forgot?) that the now canceled Scoob! spin-off was written by Paul Dini. Also hearing it was close to complete too. This is so absurd 😔

While going thru some old sketchbooks & note pads from WB Animation days, I found a lot of unused story pitches teaming up these two. Minerva fondly considered Slappy a grandmotherly role model. Slappy of course, found Min deeply annoying. Retro reunion by

’s Batman and Mark Hamill’s Joker look better than their live-action counterparts in my humble opinion 🦇🃏
Lots of nice words for the BTAS Episode "Almost Got 'Im," airing 25 years ago today. Many thanks, but wouldn't have been possible without great producers/directors (BT, Alan, Eric) and this amazing cast.
Another from my sketchbooks of unused WB cartoon pitches. From 1996 (or so) Minerva's downbeat but not unhappy single girl's Christmas Day. Comfy sweater, dumplings & egg nog, then contentedly fast asleep by 8. Idea revived & rendered by awesome

Justice League- loads of fun, great cast, many surprises. Also, very gratifying to see what an indelible mark Jack Kirby has made in popular culture in two big movies this month.

Thanks for the kind words, Thomas. Gary and I roughed out the text at the Tam O’Shanter, laughing many times as we toasted Kevin and celebrated his life, and I guess we did our share of crying, too.
Speaking of Kevin Conroy,

wrote this beautiful tribute to him for this year's Comic Con Souvenir Book. Not gonna lie, I cried for a solid 15 minutes.
David Ogden Stiers has passed away. Among his numerous parts and roles, Mr. Stiers was the voice of the Penguin in the movie
Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman.
He was 75.
Fitting that it looks like the exterior to a B-level Batman villain hide-out. A place Condiment King would rent by the hour using a bag of relish packets in lieu of money.
Actually, it was on my "to do" list. The early replacement of "The New Batman & Superman Adventures" by "Batman Beyond" torpedoed that. Maybe someday, in some other medium.

I always thought that there should have been a team up of Pamela Isley and Ra's Al Ghul . Or atleast in the animated series that would be written by
