Stick a face covering in your pocket, look after each other & follow guidance.
Our last resort is enforcement.

We wake this morning with the memory of a truly dreadful weekend for West Lothian. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of those affected. It's a time to come together as a community, to pause, reflect and support.
Had a great couple of hours with one of our "looked after" young people this morning. Its easy to forget they have often endured years of trauma before ending up in care. Met a few of my colleagues and was great just to hear them say "those cops are really nice" cont.. on FB
Last post before I head out... Cops deal with lots of distress, we have this poster on our station wall to help try & explain the challenges Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) can cause for people, understanding trauma improves responses & outcomes. We all have a role to play.
HOUND FOUND
Thanks to the power of social media, Obie, the Spaniel stolen from Harburn on 11th November, was found abandoned in Penrith, uninjured, and is now back home with his owner.
As for the investigation, we are (of course) following a lead.
#barkinguptherighttree
A really interesting film from a victim of a serious crime. I asked Kevin why he made the film ".. to give a bit of hope that overcoming it & the trauma that goes with it is possible & to use the negative experiences to do some good".
Thunder snow in Edinburgh!! Minus temperatures and more snow overnight making travel in West Lothian extremely difficult this morning. The roads around our more rural areas are particularly affected at the moment. Leave plenty time, stay patient, stay safe.
Searches are ongoing in the Ballachullish area for Patryck Lipinski who has been reported missing.
The 21-year-old is believed to have travelled to Ballachullish from Bathgate overnight between Sat, 4 and Sun, 5 September.
More on our FB page:
Dropped into one of our residential homes with my new dog to introduce them (they like dogs). Was delighted to find out from one of the young people that they have been accepted for their first college course. This could just be the opportunity needed to turn their life around.
