Derek Carr is a great QB, but an EXCEPTIONAL leader. His Sr. yr @FresnoStateFB we saw that leadership WILL the ‘Dogs to victory, bringing out best in teammates on both sides of the ball. That’s what I saw in KC today, & he led by example, putting HIS body on the line to seal it.

I believe Jake Haener has a bright future & he genuinely loves Fresno & the Valley. Ditto for Kalen DeBoer. This TIMING hurts players, program, & community those two were giving their all for all season long. That's why it's hard to swallow & reconcile w/who I know them to be.
