I understand the decision here but it is super annoying how inconsistent getting precise combos can be because of this Some characters shift so weird when they get hit it, its a part of the reason nair trains are so inconsistent as Link.

Currently, the Training Modpack, The Vsync mod, and the Arena latency slider require an update to work on the new patch. It is not possible to launch the game with these plugins enabled. The Training Modpack is being worked on atm, but not sure about the latency mods.

January 2024 Link MU Chart by me. Tried to be as realistic as I could this time around. Lucina is prob -0.5, and Gren -1.5. Link might just BARELY not be solo mainable if you want to do consistently well in Majors IMO cause the worst MUs are pretty common/meta.

Tested myself to see how it works. Yuzu now runs the training mod, + arcropolis mods without any hiccups. Also, if you want to play online, you can add the 120fps mod + local latency slider + less delay mod, and connect to others via Yuzu LDN for virtually 0 extra input delay.

It is important that you get the jump + zdrop ASAP or you will miss it and they can shield (this is why he missed it, I get the zdrop instantly). Doesnt stop the fact that many chars have wack ass hurtbox shifting that can make it inconsistent. This is why labbing is necessary!

I never understood the mentality of "i'm too bad to go to tournaments". Specifically people that refuse to go to tournaments because they know they will "go 0-2". In order to actually improve at the game on competitive level, you NEED to get experience in a competitive enviroment

For those who always wanted the training mod but don't have a modded switch but DO have a decent PC, go set this up. Takes a moment but is 100% worth it. Link mains, now is the time to go optimize your advantage state and ledgetrapping. All the tools are there for you to succeed

For anyone who comments "I wish I had a modded Switch" or whatever just use the training modpack on Yuzu. It loads even faster than a real Switch anyway and unless your PC is a potato it actually runs well. There is almost no excuse!
