1️⃣Terrible bankroll management
If you have $100, +EV betting isn’t for you. You just need more capital. I would recommend a $1000 bankroll as the minimum. This number increases quick with deposit bonuses.
And please, DO NOT bet $50 per bet with a $1000 bankroll 👎

Your units (bet size) should be based on a proven strategy. I use the Kelly calculator with a 0.25 to 0.5 multiplier.
This allows you yo easily know how much to wager per bet without being over exposed.

2️⃣Not enough volume
You gotta wager money to make money. The more money down, the more profit.
BUT. Here’s the distinction. More bets = more volume. Diversify your bets by placing more at a smaller unit size.

- You’re passing on certain bets
You need to stick to the mathematically sound process if you want to be profitable.

Also, emotions are just a pain in the ass with betting.
Sweating bets, getting pissed, making excuses, etc is all objectively just a waste of time.
Obviously I get it though, it can be fun with friends for sure.
But at the end of the day this is here for us to make money.

You definitely don’t need $1k to get started. I started with $55 (+ $400 in bonus bets) in Sep and I’ve banked $1100 and still have the same $400 total bankroll size sitting in my two accounts. I just keep units at $2, and do mostly +EV after the initial free bet conversion
