The queer people that were sent to Nazi Concentration Camps but survived until the Allies liberation of the Camps were re-imprisoned because it was still considered a crime in West Germany. That particular law not being fully repealed until 1994.

A petition is going around demanding to bring back Section 28 laws by banning LGBTQ+ education in Schools. It has over 160,000 signatures and will be debated. Son please share and sign this counter petition to ensure queer education isnt remmved.

Four years ago today I publicly came out as Non-Binary, and this remains the best thing I have ever done. I'm so proud and happy to be my queer self and for my trans journey to continue. Living in the closet feels like a lifetime ago now - and in many ways it was. 💛🤍💜🖤

Scrap Gender Identity Clinics. Scrap Gender Dysphoria as a requirement for trans healthcare. Support Social Transition at all ages GP's can proscribe HRT (Including Puberty Blockers). All aspects of Transition availaible on the NHS at point of need, not after years of waiting.

I too (at 25) have been referred to at a protest as an "older trans person", which I think shows how relentless transphobia has made many younger trans people feel like trans people just don't grow old, hence why we would be old at 25.

The colours on the progress flag that JKR thinks should be removed and describes as "shit" represent Trans People, LGBTQ+ individuals of colour, and those we lost to AIDS. She is calling all of those groups "shit". There is no two ways about it. This is because she is a bigot.

...that just as how it would be ridiculous for us to say "you can't use the term gay", so to is ridiculous for that very small group of people to say we can't use the word "queer", whilst also being completely valid in saying we can't use it personally for them.
