This is why people don't take the comp scene seriously. The ego trip some of these players get. I 4K them as Chucky, and say "ggwp glnm!" So they say Chucky should be deleted, so out of curiosity, I wanted to see what they dislike, and this was the response I get. 🙄

For those that don't realize, the Redeemer does not have a front sight. However, you can see the tip of the Harpoon which is designed to act as your front sight when ADS. The left/right spikes can also be used to judge distance when leading your shots.

I got forced to Eyrie (for the third game in a row) and for the first time in a LONG time. I hard tunneled out the first person. These people go on a RANT about how I'm "Fake" or "Hacked" or "Not a Real P100." All because I tunneled them. Then I saw their loadouts...The Irony.

1. IRON MAIDEN The squares are actually fine design wise, however the large block on the top of the rifle severely limits the visibility of the harpoon spike (Left/Current). This creates a false FOV of sight picture. The block being removed would be huge for QOL (Right/EditedPic)

@HensDBD I literally use Nvidia Filters to make the game look sharper and more detailed (Left Image). I can't stand how bland and dull the base game looks (Right Image). It doesn't really provide any "advantage" but it does make the game look like its not still 2016 DBD 😂

@RapidMain I can’t tell if this is bait, but Rapid, You hold W out of the room knowing you got detected instead of hiding in the locker. 😂 They phase through walls to the initial point you were detected and then begin chase. You can’t hide from them in lockers. 😂

This thread will aim to identify some of the rifles that create similar issues. As rifle cosmetics that block the harpoon's tip make them significantly worse to use. I have heard the voices of the Slinger community and hope to portray them for the public audience and developers.

3. CHOCOLATE SPIKE This rifle literally isn't rendered properly. It has TWO rifles in one that you can clearly see in game. Two Harpoons and two frames. This is visible in the lobbies as well when you move Deathslinger around and look at his rifle.

3. CHOCOLATE SPIKE (PART 2) Aside from the rendering issues with the rifle in game, it also has a weirdly oblong front sight that doesn't accurately line up with the harpoon spike. Course this bulkiness/lack of smoothness could be because of the rendering of TWO rifles in one.

2. SERRATED SPEARGUN (RIFT/DEEP RIFT) Introduced with the Tome 18 Rift, two wires are sticking out on the top of the rifle, overshadowing the actual Harpoon spike. It would be better if they were flat/removed. A side convo could be had about the lack of rift variant color as well

4. HOLIDAY HARPOON The theme of this rifle is fantastic, however falls short when ADS. The skirt from the nutcracker creates a rounded top view that completely blocks all sight picture of the harpoon spikes. This is the worst rifle to use in game as Deathslinger.

@creedsilsky @The_Farmer_John Even as a Killer main, that’s absurd. No offense meant. Slinger, Huntress, Nurse, Nemesis and others can already almost instantly down after DS with the current 2 Seconds. Any shorter would make it useless imo.

5. TRACKS KILLER This rifle actually has its own front post sight which is PERFECTLY aligned with the harpoon spike! Fantastic! However the wood boards that protrude on the side obstructs the peripheral view when tracking/leading shots on survivors. Its counterproductive.

P.S. For those that may not understand the importance of the "Harpoon Spike Sight Picture" outside of looks. The side spikes actually help you lead your shots. This clip is a very brief example, but shows why its important these spikes shouldn't be blocked by cosmetic design.

5. BUGBEAR BugBear is the PERFECT example of a unique cosmetically designed rifle theme that doesn't obstruct the gameplay of Slinger! You have peripheral objects that dont obstruct the peripheral sight picture and you can clearly see the harpoon spike's sight picture.

So many times I lost the savior bc the unhooked forced their way infront of me. Then I HAVE to go for them to keep pressure.

1. BADLAND GRIT/GREASETOOTH RIFLES There are 7 default skins and 1 Anniversary skin that have these rifles. All these rifles are a slight variation of the original Death To Bayshore. They have their own issues outside of this thread, but they are the best example of sight picture

@Daithiee This is one of the reasons why I suggested survivors that are unhooked should be granted “no collision” for 10 seconds instead of Endurance. If unhooked with BT, then you get 10 seconds of endurance added to the end of your No collision time.

With Horizon Onward disbanding. I am heartbroken for the team and the community. I hate how things ended, but I am thankful to have had the opportunity to befriend so many amazing creators and be apart of so many charities. This chapter has closed, but a new one has yet to begin.

When will survivors stop using their anti-tunnel basekit endurance offensively? You’re wasting the BT that is meant to protect you. If you feed me your BT, you’re going right back on the hook. Especially when I TRY to go for the unhooker. Every. Single. Time. 🤷🏻‍♂️

2. The Official @DeadbyDaylight page can post the clips of streamer reactions - like a highlight reel. This would allow the community to congratulate AND boost Community Morale and Motivation to stream on those dates/times because they SEE it working fluently and frequently!
