I am not a refugee in Ireland. I came here in 2021 to get my master’s and had the chance to adapt on my own terms. I come from the area in Ukraine that is relatively safe. So, I am privileged in many ways. And all I can do is just make sure to give back from what I have.

We're nearing 2 years of full-scale russian invasion & 10 years of war with russia. Our independence was restored 32 years ago. Yet, we're still not treated by the world as independent people who deserve agency. Otherwise, I can't explain russians being the ones writing about us
