OCSD staff and volunteers debrief after locating a missing 12 year old girl in Lake Forest this evening. She was found safe and returned to her family. More than 50 OCSD staff and volunteers helped find her. We are grateful for the many community members who also assisted.

On Monday, May 22nd at 11:54 a.m., Lake Forest deputies were dispatched to the 2200 block of Robins Street regarding a vehicle crash into a house. The driver exited the vehicle, obtained a pickaxe, and threatened two individuals. The driver was arrested and taken into custody.

Today at approximately 4:30pm, a single vehicle collision occurred on El Toro Road near Summerwood Way. One victim was pronounced deceased at the scene, one was transported to the hospital as a trauma. The OC Sheriff’s Major Accident Reconstruction Team responded to investigate.
