@NurseIngrid2 I would start doing nasal irrigation ASAP. If infected, it may be possible to wash away a lot of virus.

@sidherian Yeah Haven't seen her in 5 yrs. Primary school teacher. I reckon she likely caught it before she left NZ.

@NurseIngrid2 Unlikely you will get it if you wore your N95 and also she may not have been contagious at that point. You are either infected or not now so don't go overboard with all the sprays etc none will stop the infection. Also you are at PEAK protection with your vax.

@crimsonartist That's good to know. So glad I found a pharmacy that would give it to me. Had to catch a bus, a train and another bus, but totally worth it.

@Emmairl Only if I'm willing to pay more than $1000. Not available here otherwise, unless one meets very rigid criteria

@NurseIngrid2 I had Covid in January. I prepared dinner, breakfast and lunch for kids and hubby the entire time. I did not isolate or wear a mask. No one else got covid, but their immune systems got to flex their immunity muscles. It’s a cold/flu. Get a grip.

@NurseIngrid2 Too risky NOT to keep it on at all times. Aerosols can linger for days, so even if 1 person occupied the general area within the last 48 hours, you are at risk. Yes, even outside. Also, N95 is not going to protect you that ouch. You need at least a half-face respirator.
