Like the time I booked outdoor seating a restaurant and they told me they couldn't facilitate it because they had too many waitstaff off sick ...and so everyone had to be seated inside.

Requested outdoor seating at a restaurant. It was cold 🥶but there were heaters. And no other diners outside.
The host who seated us: I don’t like to send my wait staff outside this time of year because they are out sick a lot and I don’t want them to catch a cold. 🥴

My neighborhood pub had outdoor seating w/heat lamps and fire pits during the winters of 2020-2022. But they've eliminated all that--only indoors now. So I'm not going there.
