A week today Victor Thompson will turn 81. 7 weeks ago he suffered compound fractures which required surgery to his leg. This morning he rode out 5 lots! He trained his 1st winner in December 1971 at Cheltenham and is still going strong today. What an incredible man! 🙌

In 2017 Senor Lombardy and Coole Hall met twice over hurdles. Senor Lombardy won at Kelso, then three weeks later Coole Hall got his revenge in the French Furze. More than 6 years later, the pair renewed rivalries at Alnwick on Sunday, with Senor Lombardy winning by a length!
