A huge S/O to my Uber driver Bongani who took me to my interview yesterday from Midrand Station, ended the trip & waited for me. Once he found out I got the job he drove me around to figure out how I would get taxis to work the next day & drove me home. All for free. 😭❤️🙏
When groove opens can the opening DJ go in hard! There’s no time for opening sets when we’ve been chilling at home since March. Go hard or go home. Me I want bangers. Yeyiiii 🤣
Just signed and paid for my new apartment. It’s so beautiful. A month after I left my 9-5. So please believe me when I say I appreciate every gig, every promo job, every RT or referral. God is so good. ❤️
I lost everything in 2021. My apartment, some of my friends, definitely my mind. 2022 was basically me starting again and you know what? I’m doing just okay. God really restores. ❤️

Do you know what’s a good friend? A person who sees an opportunity and thinks of you / goes out of their way to plug you. It’s all nice having people to party with but having people who want to help change your life. Those are goals.
Dear Artists/DJs:
move away from equating hard work to inclusion on certain lineups and events… sometimes it’s got nothing to do with talent but connections. so maybe instead of trying to “work harder” - maybe start networking better.
I hope we can stop romanticizing struggle as a way to gate keep young people, wanting them to go through hardships in the name of building character. That’s not evolution. Life should be getting easier for people, not harder.
I’m not sure who needs to hear this but you will totally be fine if you leave a toxic relationship and start again. Yes starting again is hard but losing yourself to someone else is even harder.
If I was a female Hip Hop artist in South Africa I’d honestly centre my music around women… de-centre men and stop packing the product for them when they aren’t the consumer. Create a female fan club, make music for the girls… let the girls play your stuff.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me since I’ve started DJing. Thank you for coming to my gigs, thank you for referring me, thank you to every promoter and club owner that booked me. You’ve changed my life. Forever grateful. 🖤
Good Morning everyone... I'd just like to share some good news. I have a new residency starting this Saturday. I'll also be handling the line-up and putting together some dope parties. I'm really humbled that a venue would trust me to be their head DJ. ❤️

set is packed with the latest music released in 2020 😊🥰 ❤️🥳 Hope I manage to put you onto some new hits that are going to pop this Summer.
Mediocre male DJs who have been DJs for almost 10 years still play horses and have such terrible song selection still have majority of the gigs. You guys are coming for women who haven’t even touched 4years in the industry. 💔
I affirm that this is going to be an amazingly blessed week. Everything that I’m praying for is coming to pass. I am blessed and grateful beyond measure. ❤️
