1. I naturally paint mid-tone low saturation due to my background as an environment-focused artist, so for HS assignments I often use adjustment layers quite liberally at the end to boost contrast and saturation.

2. A change was requested near the completion of this card, to make it a Deviate fish. I included how I made this change efficiently as a layer group in the file.
3. To see my process, turn off all layers above "sketch" and turn them back on from bottom-up one at a time.

Thanks so much for sharing this! As someone who also tends to start relatively low contrasty and use a lot of adjustment layers (often thinking, should I learn to use nice and bright colors right away?), it's so good seeing a similiar process, from you especially. Love your work.
