After trying and failing to learn Zbrush properly for years, I can't stop hearing a teammate's "did you know Blender is free" in my head when I read about the recent merger.
So here's my first try at sculpting in blender without worrying at all about process.
@NightblueArt
Blender Sculpt reminds me of Mudbox a bit, definitely easier than Zbrush.
And also if you have iPad Pro and Pencil, Nomad Sculpt interface is also super intuitive.
@NightblueArt
i`ve been using zbrush user for 8 years now and i really don´t understand how someone can sculpt on blender, it´s years behind zbrush to say the least, also zbrush interface is not that complicated
@Azzazel69
I’m guessing blender is more newbie friendly :) I’ve seen folks fly through zbrush like magicians, but it is so hard to remember when i don’t use it regularly…
@3Rton93
Something I’ve learned when trying for the fabled “perfect process” in team collaborations in the past is everyone problem solves and learns in different ways. Probably the greatest challenge for UX designers everywhere :)
@NightblueArt
Great job! Beautiful. I love both Blender & ZBrush. I’ve been a sculptor in ZB for 12 years.i prefer it to sculpt. I love Blender. I’m not sure if your issue was that ZB $. And Blender is free or if ZB was too complicated? Regardless Blender is amazing also w/Nodes/render. 🙌
@NightblueArt
As someone who was forced to use maya and zbrush for classes I can not figure out how in the world to operate blender 😵💫 I gotta go do the donut tutorial 😭
@NightblueArt
Welcome to blender :D I've used blender for about 15 years, I couldn't imagine using any other program for my work. It all seems complex for no reason.
