So, lets take this into perspective
CN teams play from approx 10-11am to about 1-2am (with about 6-7 scrim maps + theory + VOD + ranked)
SA teams do max 9hrs (except 3 teams) with 2-3 scrim maps + theory + VOD + 2-3 ranked games)
Now you wonder why most SA teams are bad 💀
We Indians have the game since its Global beta back in 2020 and our peak achivement with a team of 5 Indians is beating Damwon Gaming in APAC LCQ 2021.
The Chinese on the other hand don't even have the game released in their country and have already eliminated NaVi, T1 & LOUD.
The core problem here is that there are many people in the SA scene just aiming to make money without doing any of the work
While the passionate ones improve and grind it out, the lazy ones are dragging them behind and still trying to make excuses for it
Some of these players scroll thru Tinder to find girls while in practice sessions, go out to have a drink right after practice and dont bother playing ranked/self-VOD, cares more about how many bodies they can get with their "rizz", and just generally, not good things
Like once-twice a week i can totally understand and make a case for it, but going out basically whenever you can is just bad 💀
You cant be doing the same amount of work as an F/A team near Challengers when you are still signed 💀💀
We scrimmed and vodded 2maps/day at WX 💀
I saw CN teams practicing 16hr days, scrimming 9 maps/day when FGC Qualifiers were near (I co-own a big pracc group)
They were dedicated to their work man 💀💀💀
@NethenoobVAL
Not just no of hrs the quality of time spent working on the game is also less . There is no analysis of your own gameplay to begin with to focus on that specific thing to sort it out.
@VltSentinel
there is a simple solution to that!
OBS
the app that EVERYONE has
just press the record button when you play and watch it after the games yk?
simple
@kxsif
Sir wadafak do u mean u grind the shit out of any game
I think u can go pro in yugioh after 6 months of learning just from ur dedication to grind at this point
@sup_boy21
The culture doesnt matter, what matters is that you are dedicated to your craft or not
Many SA players openly said that they only play for the money and if possible, they would go back to CSGO immediately if they can get a salary there
@NethenoobVAL
14-16 hours is too much though, that sort of culture is just as toxic. Sure it'll get them results but that's it. Gotta find that balance
@NethenoobVAL
When India would win a major global trophy, that's the when esports will be getting started in India.Untill then culture would be same as it is now, no improvement would be there. Be it 5 or 10 years . We definitely need a trophy to change the mindset of people's.
