[4:35 PM] Numerous showers and storms are moving through the region this evening. An isolated severe storm is not out of the question, along with localized heavy rainfall! Showers taper off overnight.
Showers/thunderstorms will increase in coverage as we head into the afternoon hours. There is a marginal risk for severe storms (large hail, damaging wind). An isolated tornado (along/south of I-70) can not be ruled out. Heavy rain fall could lead to localized flooding issues.
[10:45 PM] Storms are firing off along a Stationary Front draped along the southern third of Indiana/Ohio. While the severe threat with these is relatively low, they will likely produce locally heavy rainfall! Please let us know if you encounter any high water or runoff.
[2:12 PM] Latest severe weather outlook: Our forecast area has been downgraded to a Marginal Risk. An isolated severe storm still remains possible, but widespread coverage is not expected. Flooding could pose a larger concern and may linger overnight if training storms exist.
[152 PM] Survey update - a 3rd (Mercer County west of Coldwater) and 4th (Darke County in/near Greenville) tornado have been confirmed via survey. Details will be finalized later today.
