Because lack of PPE, testing and exit strategies are 'political'.
We thought they concerned Covid-19 safety for patients, staff and carers?

If you need a mental health bed in Norwich, the NHS has already been privatised as hundreds of people have been transported to substandard private beds, some 300 kms away.
At
@NSFTtweets
since 2010, more than 140 mental health beds have closed, 1 in 5 doctors and nurses are gone
This is the reality of the crisis in mental health services.
20 year old Emily has been transported from North Norfolk to Glasgow in Scotland because of the lack of local suitable beds.
Imagine if this was your daughter, granddaughter or sister.
She wrote this to us today.

when as Health Secretary until July 2018 he failed to implement changes after 2016 Exercise Cygnus (which the government refuses to publish) showed the NHS was ill-prepared for a pandemic?
@nuwandiss
The person subjected to this abuse is a front line mental health worker at
@NSFTtweets

This is why our campaign exists. We are calling for a public inquiry into
@NSFTtweets
to establish how many have died and why this trust has been allowed to fail for years. Too many in mental distress or died because

What complete rubbish is this

propaganda. Gaslighting on a grand scale. Services are stretched so far that they are discharging or turning away very ill people. Waiting lists for talking therapies are months or even years long.
Feelings like anxiety and depression can affect us all. If you're struggling with your mental health, the NHS can help you get your feet back on the ground.
You can refer yourself or your GP can refer you.

The role of commissioning in the crisis in mental health does not get enough coverage.

Some SU have had to resort to paying for their therapies. When they told NSFT this, the response was to remove them from psychological therapies waiting lists. When SU paying from benefits itβs not sustainable long term. How to discourage openness and honesty!

- Cuts to housing support for mental illness
- Cuts to dual diagnosis and addiction services
- Discharging of people in need
