BBC reports extra £1bn for NHS capital spending this yr. There’s a catch: The £1bn is cash hospitals and other NHS trusts already have but have been forbidden to spend. They earned it last yr in incentive payments for cutting their costs [thread, 1/8ish]

Some SU have had to resort to paying for their therapies. When they told NSFT this, the response was to remove them from psychological therapies waiting lists. When SU paying from benefits it’s not sustainable long term. How to discourage openness and honesty!

Just as coronavirus cases increase, Norfolk and Waveney STP is closing City Reach, the dedicated primary care services for the voiceless and most in need, such as the homeless, people with addictions, sex workers, etc. in Norwich. An irresponsible decision before, more so now.

You are not the only person who endures this distressing ‘support’ via the REST helpline. Arbitrary time limits and restrictions that change on a whim. Enforced periods of ‘reflection’. Nothing therapeutic in this approach just a power trip that makes people feel abandoned.
