The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has condoled President Muhammadu Buhari on the demise of his late Chief of Staff Mallam Abba Kyari who died on Friday 17th of April, 2020.
In order to prevent bank failures and losses to depositors, NDIC conducts close supervision and detailed bank examinations.
Banks are also required to periodically file financial reports to enable NDIC evaluate their financial condition and compliance with laws and regulations.
