I was trying to politely explain to a Radiologist today that I thought he was overlooking some structural damage in my throat on my MRI Scan and he responded with: “I went to Harvard”. So I followed up with “So did Ted Cruz”. He wasn’t too pleased with that.

If you’re a Doctor please stop pointing out fact that a Disease existed before COVID. Yes we understand that, but Strokes are up 250%, some Cancers are up 400+%, Deaths are up 40%. It may have existed before, but COVID is increasing the rate at which it’s happening across board.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but COVID is nothing like the Flu. COVID is a Level 3 Pathogen that’s Killing more people in weeks than the Flu does in years. Covid Destroys your T-Cells and Binds to ACE2 (like HIV). COVID has increased Death Rates by 18+% in Ages 25 to 50.

It’s astonishing how normal my blood tests are with Long COVID, whoever created this stealth, super virus did a bang up job. It’s literally destroyed my will to live in six months, caused me to lose 70 pounds and I can’t walk 100m anymore, but I’m healthy according to every test.

Masks don’t work. Well Japan had less lockdowns than the USA, but they had better contact tracing, isolation support and of course everyone wore a Mask. Comparably to the USA Japan should have had 460,000+ Excess Deaths (they had 71,507). Masks in Japan saved 385,000+ Lives.

If I was in charge of a Country here is the COVID Safety Policy I would enact. N95 Masks on Planes, in Hospitals, at Concerts/Sporting Events over 1,000 People, Improved HVAC in Bars and Schools. That’s it, that alone might save the world. That’s not a major inconvenience.

Dumbest thing I did when I first got Long COVID was run a Million Blood Tests, all came back normal and wasted my energy. But now that I’ve gotten sicker I know they all wouldn’t be normal, but Doctors are still relying on old information and thinking I’m still fine, just anxiety

99% of People in Society aren’t Hypochondriacs. Most unknown illnesses historically have been labeled as Hypochondria, until they’re properly researched and various diagnosis methods are created. Hypochondria is much more rare than Doctors want to admit. People aren’t crazy.

If I ever beat this horrible disease, which seems so unlikely at this point, I’m going to camp for years on end, all over North America. I always loved camping, but didn’t go nearly enough. Even if I only get 30-40% better someday I’m going once more, I don’t care if it kills me.

How do Rheumatologists know so little about COVID, Long COVID and ME/CFS? It’s literally their specialty and they know less than most Surgeons or GPs and that’s usually not saying much. My GP has sent me to two and I told my GP after both meetings that she knew more about ME/CFS.

Surgery over, back in the AirBnB. It’s bittersweet, didn’t shutoff the Autoimmune Reaction, but clearly did some good. Don’t know where to turn next. Maybe when the swelling goes down it will relax the nerves more. I feel like I’ve been running a Marathon everyday for two years.

Neither of my parents fully grasp Long COVID, I’m just living in a nightmare. If they don’t understand it, watching me wither away in bed. How is the rest of the world? Virus’s are so fucking evil and they get ignored because they’re so sneaky, they attack and maim silently.

@____B_S____ It’s mostly safe, snakes will stop eating before big meals, so you know when they’re going to kill you. But snakes don’t feel love and are loyal to no one, I knew someone who owned a boa for years and then it stopped eating one day and the vet explained what that meant

Thanks for all the support everyone. I managed to get out of the Hospital. I’m still getting sicker and sicker and I fear greatly for my life and my worsening condition, but I wouldn’t be here without you all. I should be in a Hospital, but it doesn’t work like that with ME/CFS.

I really miss working, everyone wants to pretend Disabled people with Long COVID/ME/CFS don’t want to work by choice (which is extra crazy when you consider less than 5% of those with Long ME/CFS actually get Disability Pay), but I loved my job and studied seven years for it.
