I think the bamboo planks are a HUGE missed opportunity. Currently, the wood types we have cover most of the rainbow, but there is a giant gap over the color green. @Minecraft should really consider making the bamboo planks greener. The current color is too close to oak/birch

Mojang has a terrible habit of patching out broken game mechanics and offering zero replacement. Like I get it! You hate afk fish farms. Maybe try just making fishing actually fun like in SV, Animal crossing, or idk literally any other game with fishing

Mojang should just pick like 30 of the coolest mobs and bosses from Dungeons and Legends and implement them into the main game. The shear creativity behind some of the character designs in those games is astonishing.

Btw, I think dark oak as black is debatable. You could also make a case for birch counting as white. But unstripped bamboo definitely doesn't count for green because the whole point is getting the slabs, stairs, fences, etc. in that color too.

Deeply frustrating day for me. Villager trading has been at the heart of challenges like superflat & skyblock for a decade. I get that I play a niche challenge. I didn't complain about not having the End for 8+ years. It's just another band-aid solution anyhow. I'm just sad.

For those not keeping track, these are all now superflat obtainable in 1.21: -Deepslate -Tuff -Snow & Powder Snow -Amethyst (spyglass, tinted glass) -Scaffolding + Bamboo Planks -Dead Bush -Trident Plus, a new source of raw diamonds. 1.21 is going to feel like xmas

1.16 really had it all. New blocks, new wood types, new structures, new biomes, new mobs... But after thinking about it, I think what made it so special was not just adding a bit of everything, but lasting mechanics. (Piglin bartering, new ways to craft stone items, netherite)

It feels like the whole community levelled up in the past year or two. Gradients and texturing are much more advanced, and we're seeing lots of cyberpunk-ish stuff. Very asymmetrical. Huge leaps in terraforming too, and more people embracing using weird blocks for terrain

Enderman taking blocks is such an awful mechanic. Unlike with creepers or ghasts where it's your fault when they grief something, enderman just do it & there is zero way to stop it. I understand keeping the OG block list, but why are we adding new things like moss and mud???
