We're at that point in our marriage where I have to do the math to remember how long we've been married, and this pic is 6 years old because I couldn't find another more recent one where we don't look like hobos and don't have the kids somewhere in the pic.
Yep, that's me, going into work on the new week. At my last hospital, I was given a laptop which on occasion I would take home (i.e. to finish clinical notes, review labs, etc) but here I have a desktop and acquiring a work laptop is close to impossible.

Totally random post here but what are the odds you're watching a show on Netflix and you happen to be wearing the same shirt as the main character??! This might be one of the weirdest moments of my life.
It was a fantastic weekend with my family today, thank God for the privilege, although it has been an energetic week all through, so it was a perfect way to pull up to the weekend 🤪by commemorating the day.

Captured a few of this gorgeous sunset from my new driveway. I've been lucky to live in places with beautiful sunsets.
Happy Birthday to me!🌹🌹
(You may see a port-o-potty here or there. Our entire cul-de-sac is new homes and the construction is still finishing up on a few.)
Early morning. Thought I'd share a moment as I come off my inpatient night shift. What I like about my specialty is diversity, and as family docs, we take care of both kids and adults, "cradle to grave" as we call it. (Although, for those of us who also do routine prenatal care.
And.. residency is a wrap! Say hello to two of the Navy's newest Family Physicians! I couldn't have made it through residency without this woman dr. Livesey, aka my work wife and one of my best friends. a wonderful person and a wonderful doctor!

My friend
@talshat
and I started a dinner party club and this was our first dinner - Cuban-themed. Delicious food, mojitos, and (not-pictured) a game of Uno that we put a slight twist on with some inventive wild cards. After a stressful week at work, thank God for life!
Sunset drinks with my favorite travel buddy. The last time we took a real trip together was to Italy 9 years ago. Even though we still have a few more days I'm already sad about leaving Bali. If there's one thing I've realized it's that life is short, we have one Earth.

Green smoothies for the win, or as my son insists on calling them "dinosaur smoothies" (because they're green🤷♀).
I've tried various combos but this is the one everyone likes the best: spinach, frozen mangoes, frozen peaches, banana, and a little bit of OJ.

Covering the inpatient ward at night looks a whole lot different as an attending now I get to take night calls from home. I just have to keep my phone on me at all times, and I obviously can't do my occasional nightly glass of wine so I've replaced it with chamomile tea this week
So tell me, I'm "shopping my closet" to see if I can find new ways to use old clothes. I've never tried this before but I want your honest thoughts. I took an old maxi skirt and tried to convert it into a dress. I want honest responses 😅🤣
I LOVE my Littmann cardiology grade IV stethoscope (a present to myself after graduating med school) but needed to replace the tubing recently. I decided to go for hot pink this time because sometimes working in medicine is depressing and I needed something fun

Charcoal Cleansing Bar
I use this bar every single shower and it never dried my skin out.
I am curious, do you prefer bar soap or a body wash and loofah?
