Just got this letter in through the door. A referral was first sent in 2011. It was then picked up by @tusla in 2015. A retrospective investigation began in 2018 & in 2020 they have concluded their investigation. Sitting here balling my fucking eyes out. I can't believe it

I'm buzzing 😊 Honestly can't believe how well my lung function has improved. A few months ago I'd a lung function of 34%. Today after a difficult few months of uncertainty my lung function is now 89%. Really thankful to Prof Donnelly and his team at Tallaght Hospital

I've been put on oxygen & admitted to a Covid ward as a precaution. Still waiting for that test to come back. Bloods came back ok. Still not able to hold down food or fluids. Been on various IVs throughout the night. A few more tests to do but I'll be in here for a couple of days

My GP today put a lot into perspective for me. In the last 13 months, I'd a stroke, was hospitalised for Covid, lost my Da, diagnosed with stage 3 Sarcoidoisis & worked with the government to establish an independent review. I'm doing alright, sure I'm back in college this month

Didn't sleep at all last night. I kept having nightmares and flashbacks, so I walked around for most of the night. Didn't have a pint or drink, which would normally be my go-to for nights like that, so I just kept walking. I'm proud to say that I'm 6 months sober today

Bit emotional and honestly gutted to be told my lungs are failing. Lung function has dropped from 58% last month to 34% today. Probably explains why I have been finding it hard at the moment. The pain and exhaustion over the last few weeks has been extremely difficult to manage

On my way, home & bumped into a former member of St John Ambulance. He called me an opportunist & an attention seeker. He thinks I'm looking to "destroy the reputation of good men". The same men who did nothing and remained silent while children were sexually abused for decades

I'm finding it very hard at the moment and just got off the phone to @samaritans if you're struggling and need that support they will always listen to you. Call 116 123 (Samaritans United Kingdom & Ireland) Might seem like shit now but life will get better. Don't give up ❤️

Trolls on here lately giving me shit for sharing what happened in St John Ambulance. They think I'm only talking about it because I'm looking for likes and publicity. I'm only talking about it because we were ignored for 20 years. I'll keep talking until they are held accountable

Honestly, I'm buzzing with how I look in this photo. It's good to see all the therapy, running, walking, swimming, and trips to the gym are paying off. Don't think I've ever been this healthy or happy 😊
