The Silver Age Justice League. I drew this back in 2019 for DC when I was drawing a lot of omnibus and collection covers for them. For some reason, DC decided not to use it and it's sat in my files ever since.
I thought it would be nice to share it now.
I've missed painting in gouache, so I've been dabbling when my schedule allows. This is a recent painting of Batman & Robin, 11" x 16" in gouache and ink on heavy watercolour paper. Getting back into painting felt like riding a bike.
Iβm excited to announce that Iβve drawn a full length Batman story for Batman: Urban Legends issue 21. Written by me and
@AFalconewriter
and on stands in November, itβs a banger: 22 pages of all-out action and featuring some of my best work. Check out my cover too:
My variant cover for Captain America

@THEBRYANHITCH
. I think it all worked out well.
It looks like DC has released the variant cover I drew for Detective Comics 1000. I drew the 1950βs themed cover and had a ton of fun drawing all the zany versions of Batman from that era:
One of the neat things about drawing in procreate on the ipad pro is the timelapse feature. Hereβs a clip of my brainstorming process as I searched for an idea for that Terrifics cover I posted yesterday.
Looks like Marvel has released the next cover I drew for the Mighty Marvel Masterworks collection. This time it's for Amazing Spider-man Vol 2. This was a real treat for me to draw as it features some of my all time favourite Spider-man stories and characters.
Here's my newest cover for the Mighty Marvel Masterworks series: Avengers vol 2 - out next year.
I always liked this lineup, and I finally got to draw Quicksilver.
Revealed at last: my X-men silkscreen poster for
@MondoNews

Looks like DC has released my variant cover for the Green Arrow 80th Anniversary issue. I got to draw the 1940's themed cover and had a lot of fun with it.
Here's my latest Mighty Marvel Masterworks cover - this time for The Fantastic Four Vol 2. This was a joy to draw and I did my best attempt at a Kirby tribute in the style and the background cityscape.
Painted this very old school Iron Man in gouache as part of a warm up for a large project, trying to channel the charm and joy of early Marvel age Jack Kirby.
I miss painting in gouache, so I was messing around with it and made a small recreation of a Spider-man cover I drew years ago.
Gouache and ink on 9"x12" watercolour paper.
I'm drawing a series of covers for the new Marvel Masterworks series, featuring reprints of classic Marvel stories. For me, it's a chance to come full circle as my favourite books as a kid were old Marvel digest reprints, hunted down from used bookstores.
Hello, I drew a variant cover for the new Sensational She Hulk series. This is for issue
#3
. I've always wanted to draw her, especially after enjoying the TV show.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness promotional art, which I drew over a year ago for Marvel. I believe some framed copies were given to the cast and staff.
As with most art like this, it went through a lot of revisions and changes before the final form.
DC has announced my variant cover for Batgirls issue
#4
. I was pretty excited to contribute to this book and really enjoyed working on this cover. I'll be doing 2 more variant covers for the series.

This one features Lady Iron Fan and Captain America (with a side order of MODOK) and was drawn entirely digital on an ipad.
I'm drawing variant covers for Dynamite comics' new Space Ghost series. They asked if I could draw them in a classic style, so I leaned into that for this cover - trying to keep the look of the original animated series. I'll be drawing 12 covers in all.
Marvel has released my variant cover for issue

of Shang-Chi. This was my last cover for this great, highly entertaining series by
@geneluenyang
and
@dike_ruan
and I wanted to go out with a bang.
Adam Strange. This one started out as a doodle I made one night when I had insomnia. Found time to turn it into a finished painting and tried out some different approaches.
DC has released my cover for the Wonder Woman 80th Anniversary special. I got to do the "1960's themed" cover and it was a treat for me to draw. Did some hand lettering for it too!
