@MichaelG_3D Are 3D Artists expected to know how to code? Im actually lost here. I'm not a programmer or an artist so I may be completely out of the loop here.

@inwhat123 Sometimes yes but most of the time no, it helps if you know how but usually we don’t

@MichaelG_3D I can "code" and I hate it with a passion. I thought I hated it 'cause I sucked at it, but the better I become at it, the more I hate it.

@MichaelG_3D It’s not a requirement, but in a collapsing industry approaching 10,000 layoffs if it comes down between you and a 3D artist who knows Python or Lua they have the edge.

@MichaelG_3D i found out that picking up some c# for Unity/Godot scripting is kinda easy even for a 3d artist!

@MichaelG_3D That was me 6 months ago but now I know two coding languages 😎 Still make minimum wage tho 🤓
