@AcademiaAesthe1 Lots of symbolism in the painting; dead trees on one side with live trees on the other side, the snake wrapped around the necklace, dark clouds behind the face. It gives off a beautiful and mysterious feeling - certainly an interesting portrait by Piero di Cosimo.

@AcademiaAesthe1 Great artwork, stained glass windows are magnificent, especially when used in a theological context. Edward Burne-Jones is probably my favorite of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood for these, let alone his paintings.
