I saw this on opening night & was floored by how closely it mirrored the tone of the early comics while accommodating the humor necessary to pull of the transition from ink to a real-world setting. It should have been a throwaway cash-in but instead it's full of heart & sincerity

the guy in that specific costume was my boxing instructor for many years and his emphasis on form was incredible. he moved so fluidly and it was amazing to watch.
