Imagine how Tom Holland feels. He was cast to be the Spider-Man in the MCU, specifically so his character could be in the Avengers. Now he’s being told he can’t play in that playground anymore and has to be stuck with Sony’s leftovers.

According to Kevin Feige, what was announced last night IS the full Phase 4.
That means the three 2022 movies, Guardians 3, Black Panther 2, Captain Marvel 2, Blade, Fantastic Four, and the Mutants are going to be part of Phase 5.
I’m sorry if you don’t want to see a Captain Marvel sequel, but the first movie made over a billion dollars and Kevin Feige confirmed the sequel at SDCC.
THR confirms that after the August 20th announcement the agreement was 100% dead with no secret negotiations. It was Tom Holland who saved the day and convinced Sony and Disney to agree on September 27th.
@ChrisEvans
Thank you for being the best Steve Rogers we ever could’ve ask for. From day 1 in The First Avenger you perfectly brought him to the screen. We’re forever grateful for what you have done for the character.
I feel sorry for whoever is writing Spider-Man 3 and 4. They have to write with both hands tied behind their back since they have to ignore everything about Holland’s Spider-Man from the last five movies he was in.

Three trailers, all in one week. If that's not a "crazy" week for MCU fans, I don't know what is.
People who are upset about Ms. Marvel being on Disney+ instead of a movie shouldn’t worry because there’s nothing stopping a Disney+ Marvel Studios character from crossing over into a movie. Like how WandaVision directly leads into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
“Kevin! Hey it’s Thor again. You know the God of Thunder? Listen buddy, if you don’t cast Tom immediately I’m going to fly over to your house, come down to that basement you’re hiding in, rip off your arms, and shove them up your butt."

We've seen Stephen Strange every year since his MCU debut. Feige likes the Sorcerer Surpreme.
If Spider-Man 3 is planned for 2021, they wouldn’t have to start filming the movie until next year. So there’s still four or five months to work something out.

The official press release for the Spider-Man deal says Marvel Studios will produce Spider-Man 3 for July 16, 2021 and Spidey will appear in another future Marvel Studios film.
With Fantastic Four confirmed coming to the MCU, that means the greatest comic book villain of all time will soon be home and done correctly for the first time.

Then on March 25, 2022 they bring in the big guns to fix it.
