#Ashenda is an annual cultural celebration in #Tigray . The girls & young women who the festival is for, adorn themselves in dresses called ‘tilfi’. We wear our hair in the braided styles that have been developed for ages & ornament ourselves in jewellery & Ashenda grass🌾

Can you envision the experience of leaving Eritrea for a better life, arriving in Tel Aviv, and then participating in a protest in support of the government you originally fled, only to be deported back?
