ACC schools that have contacted B12 in the past 20 hours: VT, Pitt, Cuse, NCST, GT, Miami, Louisville, BC, Wake. There is a LOT of fear and a lot of smoke. There’s also possibly enough votes to dissolve the GOR according to some of those conversations.

Interesting note from tonight’s B12 meeting: Networks are requesting we stop at 16 if multiple defections from PAC start. Any basketball only adds will be a separate negotiation and may not occur until close to the end of the new tv deal.

So the word around the B12 is that they expect B10 to only take 2 of the PAC teams. Those teams would get a half share of B10 money for the duration of the current contract but would be full share members at the next contract. As far as who gets those two spots…it’s wide open.
